  • Funder’s appetite for financing franchisees of such brand
  • The experience and reputation of the franchisor management team
  • Franchisor financial stability
  • The profitability of existing franchisees
  • Compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA)
  • Franchisee churn
  • Franchisee recruitment approach and matching of candidates
  • Suitability of the brand for enterprise development in emerging markets
  • Level of franchisee support rendered by the franchisor and general efficiency of the business system
  • Potential for network growth
  • Ongoing brand and business system innovation
